Kettering stop and search turns up a carload of trainers and £30k in cash
Anyone need any new kicks lads?
A routine stop and search for Kettering’s Proactive Policing team resulted in a huge haul.
Officers arrested a suspect following Friday’s (June 5) stop on suspicion of drugs and driving offences and of obstructing police.
After making further searches they uncovered 70 pairs of boxed trainers, jewellery worth £30,000 and £30,000 in cash.
The suspect remains in custody.
