Kettering stabbing victim awake but no arrests have been made

The 19-year-old victim of a stabbing that took place in Wellington Street, Kettering, has regained consciousness.

The incident, which left the man with multiple stab wounds, happened close to the junction of Princes Street and Wellington Street at 10.45pm on Saturday (February 13).

Detectives were on the scene on Sunday morning and officers took part in a finger-tip search of the area where the incident took place.

DI Dave Harley from Northants Police said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and increased patrols continue to take place in the Wellington Street area of Kettering to reassure the community.

"We are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward."
