A police spokesman said: "On the third occasion, when challenged by store staff, one of the women made verbal threats towards them.

"Police have now released images of two women they would like to identify as they believe they may have information useful to their investigation.

"The women pictured, anyone who recognises them or has information about the thefts, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101."
