A 'large quantity' of cannabis plants found inside the boarded up building were seized, as well as equipment used to cultivate them.

Rucaj (20) is one of three men charged with being concerned in the production of a class B drug in connection with the find.

The other two are Erjoni Ramaj, of no fixed address and Tafil Ramaj, of Balcombe Road in Horley, Surrey. Both are aged 24.

All three appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court, via a videolink, yesterday.

They were all remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, February 8.
