Kettering man arrested on suspicion of raping 13-year-old girl

A man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a 13-year-old girl in Kettering.

The suspect, who is aged 19 and from Kettering, was arrested after a report was made to police last night (Wednesday) in London Road.

An investigation is ongoing, a police spokesman said.

The spokesman said: “A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the serious sexual assault of a teenage girl in Kettering following a report made to police last night in London Road.”

The suspect remains in police custody this afternoon.
