Hunt for burglar who threw items at horse in Brigstock

A criminal who broke into a stables in Brigstock threw items at a horse before removing a bandage from its leg.

The horse was left distressed after the disturbing incident at the yard in Stanion Road.

It took place at some point between 6.30pm on Sunday (November 29) and 6.30am on Monday (November 30).

A police spokesman said: "Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
