A wicked carer, child rapists, a scamming chef and a brother and sister involved in drugs - just some of the criminals to have faced the courts in 2021.
Here's 19 from the Kettering district who were brought to justice last year.
Some remain behind bars, some were jailed and have been released into the community and some were spared from prison.

13. MATTHEW HALL
Hall, formerly of Barton Seagrave, was one of 17 jailed after a huge operation to dismantle a Kettering drugs line which exploited children so those at the top could count the cash. Hall was locked up for 14 years and six months.

14. CHRISTOPHER LYNCH
The evil Kettering rapist carried out a reign of abuse against a number of teenage girls, before protesting his innocence and forcing them to give evidence. He was found guilty and jailed for 16 years.

15. ANDREW BARRETT
Barrett was in custody in Kettering when he staged a dirty protest in his cell, smearing excrement all over the walls and door and even on a Bible. He was sentenced to a community order and told to pay compensation.

16. GRANT BAXTER
Thug Baxter left his partner with a black eye after a nasty domestic assault. He was jailed for 32 weeks.
