A wicked carer, child rapists, a scamming chef and a brother and sister involved in drugs - just some of the criminals to have faced the courts in 2021.
Here's 19 from the Kettering district who were brought to justice last year.
Some remain behind bars, some were jailed and have been released into the community and some were spared from prison.

5. ROSS EATON
Eaton, who has never passed a driving test, killed an elderly pedestrian in Northampton Road. Just days later he was caught behind the wheel again and showed no remorse. He was jailed for 34 months.

6. CHRISTOPHER BROWN
Brown was employed as a chef at Seasons Garden Centre in Burton Latimer, but faked dozens of invoices to swindle the firm out of more than £14,000. He wiped tears from his face as he was given a suspended prison sentence and unpaid work.

7. ANDREW SHORT
Child rapist Short was jailed in 2010 for evil crimes which police described as the most disturbing they had seen. After being released strict orders were placed on him to monitor him - and in 2021 he was jailed again after breaching them.

8. WAYNE STEELE
Steele was jailed for six-and-a-half years for wounding after a road rage row with another man turned violent. During the incident Steele's partner, Hayley Adams, died after the man Steele had attacked lashed out in self-defence and hit her.
