Group with knives seen running into Burton Latimer house, says witness

A witness to a serious incident in Burton Latimer this evening (Sunday, September 27) says four men with knives were seen running into a house on Station Road.

There is currently a large police presence and road closures in the area following the incident earlier this evening.

A witness said: “I had been to visit my parents in Burton Latimer and was heading home (and) the roads were all taped off and police there.”

He said Glebe Road and part of Station Road were cordoned off.

The witness described the incident as a “supposed stabbing” and said: “It happened on Glebe Road. I also spoke with the victims brother.

”It was a group of people he was saying, four people run in the house with knives on Station Road, his brother ran from the house down Glebe Road but there was a group waiting.”

The witness said they heard the victim had been taken to Coventry Hospital.
