Drug dealers, thieves and violent brutes.
These are the faces of fourteen people from Corby who were put behind bars during 2021. They include Alex McConnell who was sent to jail for more than ten years for his part in a major drugs conspiracy, and Scott Moffatt who gave illegal morphine to a 19-year-old boy who died.
Some are already back in our community - but others will be spending the next few years in jail.

9. William Youdale
Billy Youdale, 37, of Lapland Walk was sent to jail for eight years, with a further four on licence, after attempting to rob Danesholme Post office brandishing a metal bar. He later went to the home of an associate with his girlfriend Sharon Gilchrist and smashed him over the head before pinning his mother against wall and threatening to burn down her house.

10. Craig Kyle
In March, Craig Kyle, 36, of Cannock Road was described by his victim as a monster after he beat her while pregnant, leaving her with a haematoma in her skull and bruised all over her body. He pushed his thumb into her neck so that she couldn't breathe, dragged her from a bed by her ankles and bashed her head against a wall. He was given 18 months in jail.

11. Piotr Komedera
Komedera, 42, appeared before Northampton Magistrates' Court in June to face four charges of having a Belgian Shepherd called Tina that was dangerously out of control in Ollis Close, where he lived. Tina attacked two members of the public and two police officers who were helping to deal with the incident. He was jailed for a year.

12. Andrew Rae
In September, Andrew Rae, who has a long list of previous convictions, was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison for the assault on a PC. The 52-year-old of Oakley Road, Corby was jailed for six months for a racially-aggravated public order charge, an assault on a police officer and failing to surrender to custody.
