Burglars stole four cars from a local garage in Irthlingborough.

Police officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information following the burglary at Highcross Motors in High Street.

The incident happened on Wednesday, August 19, between 11.15pm and 11.45pm, when two people forced their way into the garage.

They stole four car keys before briefly leaving.

Shortly afterwards, four people returned and drove four of the cars away – a silver Ford Kuga, a white Jaguar XF, a blue Volkswagen Polo, and a silver Volkswagen Tiguan. Tools and equipment were also stolen.
