Five illegal immigrants, who cut their way out of a lorry on the M1, arrested in Northamptonshire

Northamptonshire Police were deployed to Rothersthorpe Services on the M1 northbound at 1.25pm yesterday (29 October) where five men were seen by a lorry driver to exit the trailer and run away.

The five men, who were found to be illegal immigrants had cut their way out of the lorry and made a run for it.

Officers were deployed with PD Spike, who tracked down the five men aged 18, 24, 25, 25 and 35.

They were immediately arrested and have been referred to the Border Agency.
