“Hayley will remain in our hearts forever, until we meet again.”

Wayne Steele, 42, is being held on remand after he was charged with assaulting a 33-year-old man just before Hayley's death.

Steele, of Mill Road in Kettering, was also charged with possession of a prohibited article and possession of a taser-type device.

He appeared before magistrates yesterday and is due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on July 16.
