5. Artus Caunans
Thug Caunans fractured his partner’s eye socket and told her she was ‘going to be a dead person’ in a vicious attack. The painter and decorator, 34, strangled her and beat her black and blue at a house in Corby after a discussion about finance turned violent. 6. Allan Dean
Dean was sentenced to three years after robbing a 14-year-old boy in Northampton’s Hunsbury Hill Country Park. The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal damage, robbery and racially aggravated harassment in June 2021.
Northampton Crown Court heard Dean — who was identified using CCTV — demanded the boy’s money and phone and punched him in the face. Dean then told the boy, “Remember, I am from this area, yeah? If anything happens, I will shank you.”

7. Andrew Barton
Police posing as a 14-year-old caught the 46-year-old using the web to arrange a meeting for sex in Sixfields in October last year. Barton, 46, of Hereford pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years and placed on the Sex Offenders Register.Anthony Lockhart
Police found sex toys in the home of the 60-year-old who set up a meeting with an 11-year-old girl for sex. Lockhart, previously of Daventry, was in online contact with a woman in September 2021 who he believed to be the girl’s mum — but both her and her daughter were undercover officers. Lockhart was arrested when he arrived for the meet in Daventry — although he told officers he went along with the conversation to gather evidence and later report it to police.
