Emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash at crossroads near Kettering.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Brigstock Road near Grafton Underwood after the incident at about 12.40pm.

The crash took place at the crossroads linking Grafton Underwood, Slipton, Warkton and Cranford and involved a blue Audi Q3 Sport and a silver Vauxhall Tigra.

One person has been trapped in the Audi but a police spokesman said their injuries are not believed to be serious or life-threatening.

Two occupants in the Vauxhall have been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The crossroads are likely to be closed for the next hour.

A police spokesman said: "Motorists are advised to avoid the area. Thanks for your patience."
