Electrical items were stolen after thieves forced the front door of a house in Rothwell.

The incident took place between 8.30am and 9.45am on Thursday, November 12, when the offender/s force the front door of a house in Groocock Court in Gordon Street, Rothwell.

Once inside, they made an untidy search before stealing a number of electrical items.

Items stolen included an Apple iPad, a Galaxy 5 tablet and an Apple Mac laptop with case.

A spokesman for Northants Police said they want to hear from anyone who has been offered such items for sale in unusual circumstances.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Groocock Court or Gordon Street between the stated times.
