Elderly woman stalked to her home from Kettering Tesco

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was followed home from Tesco in Carina Way, Kettering, to Stratfield Way.

The incident occurred after the elderly woman had left Tesco between 3pm and 3.25pm on Wednesday (June 24) when she became aware of a man walking behind her and stopped to let him past.

When they reached the junction with Blenheim Way, the man stopped in the road. The woman overtook him again, and he started to follow her. When she reached her house, he approached her and made an indecent suggestion. She called to a neighbour and the man walked off.

The man was 6ft tall, of a large build with short brown hair, and spoke with an Eastern European accent. He was wearing three-quarter length blue denim shorts, a brown/grey t-shirt and was smoking a cigarette.
