Elderly Northampton man charged with alleged child sex offences
The 89-year-old has been remanded in custody over a series of alleged incidents
An 89-year-old Northampton man has denied a series of child sex offences that allegedly took place last year.
Bernard Crathorne, currently of HMP Peterborough, appeared at Northampton Crown Court yesterday charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a child as well two counts of trying to incite children.

Hide AdThe offences, which Crathorne denies, allegedly took place in 2020.
The 89-year-old was remanded into custody and will return to court in April. He is expected to stand trial before the end of the year.
