Two e-bikes were vandalised and had parts stolen in Kettering less than two months after they were introduced to the town.

Police are appealing for information after the Voi bikes, which hit the streets in January, were targeted by criminals in Eden Street.

The incident took place between 10.15am on Sunday (March 14) and 8.30am on Monday (March 15).

During the incident a drill was used to drill out the retaining locks of various parts, including the batteries.

Kettering was one of the first towns to have both e-scooters and e-bikes under a scheme by Voi, designed to provide a greener alternative for travel.
