No arrests have been made so far.

On social media the Kettering Police Team said: "More drugs taken off the streets of Kettering.

"Following a discovery made by our response colleagues the team spent the day dismantling a cannabis factory, seizing growing plants, ready to sell product, weapons, mobile phones and other items."

The find is the latest in a series of grow-houses discovered and dismantled in the north of the county.

In June hundreds of plants were found across six rooms in a terraced house in Rushden's Pratt Road, which was one police team's fifth haul in just two weeks.

Two days before that their colleagues smashed another drug farm in a luxury detached house in Great Oakley.

The biggest of them all was found in Kettering when police raided the town's former Gala Bingo hall in June last year.

They found more than 2,000 plants - with the potential to yield drugs worth £2.8m over a year.

A year-long investigation failed to make a breakthrough and the case was closed by police.
