It's the second time in a matter of months vehicles in the car park have been targeted after a similar incident in May.

In the latest incident on August 27, a green Honda Jazz had its catalytic converter taken.

Thieves also took the catalytic converter from a silver Honda Civic on the same day between 8.20am and 4.40pm.

Catalytic converters are are often taken because of the high value of the precious metals they contain.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “It is disgraceful that while these people are busy working for the NHS and helping to keep us all safe, that there are people out there who will take an opportunity to steal from them.

"Anyone who has any information about these thefts should please call us on 101.”

Kettering General Hospital has been contacted for comment.
