Detectives have issued a CCTV image of a man they believe may have key information about an attempted break-in in the early hours of the morning in Northampton.

Officers are investigation the incident between 2.15am and 2.30am on Thursday, June 4.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesmnan said: "A man has attempted to break in to a van which was parked in the back yard of a business on St James Trade Park in St James’ Mill Road.

"Our officers who are investigating the incident believe the man in the photo may be able to assist with their enquiries and are appealing for him, or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch."
