Desborough man found not guilty of rape

A man from Desborough who was accused of rape has been found not guilty by a jury.

Gareth Coe, 31, stood trial at Northampton Crown Court after being charged in 2020.

Coe, of Harborough Road, had been accused of two counts of rape of a girl under 16, two counts of rape of a woman, one count of rape of a man and one count of sexual assault.

This week a jury returned not guilty verdicts on all counts.
