Delivery driver had van stolen as they dropped off parcel in Kettering

A delivery driver left their engine running as they dropped off a parcel in Kettering - and came back to find their van stolen.

The incident happened between 2.40pm and 2.50pm on Thursday, October 8, as the driver visited an address in Alexandra Street.

They delivered a parcel and left the keys in the ignition with the engine running, with a thief stealing the white Mercedes Sprinter van.

The van was later found in Cheyne Walk and it's not known if anything was stolen.

No descriptions of suspects were available at this stage. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
