Dash-cam appeal over dangerous Wellingborough Audi driver

The driver followed another car in a dangerous manner and then stopped in the carriageway

Police investigating an incident of dangerous driving involving an Audi have appealed for dash-cam footage.

The incident took place between 6pm and 6.45pm on Friday, March 12, when a silver Audi A4 estate followed a purple Citroen Picasso along Wellingborough's Wordsworth Road dangerously before overtaking.

The Citroen driver turned around to head to the A4500 - only for the Audi driver to use the Wilby Way roundabout to do the same.

A police spokesman said the Audi then followed the Citroen onto the A4500 before carrying out further dangerous manoeuvres, including stopping in the carriageway and clipping another vehicle which tried to get past it.

The spokesman said: "Anyone who saw any of the incident, has information about it or dash-cam footage of it, is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101."
