The incident happened on Monday, March 16, at about 10.45am, when a cyclist suffered injuries including three broken ribs and two broken arm bones as a result of a collision in the area.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "Following treatment at hospital, it has been suggested that the injuries must have been as the result of a collision with another vehicle that would have left the scene without stopping.

"Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage that may show what happened.

"They are also interested in speaking to a woman in a red car who may have witnessed what happened and could assist with the investigation."
