An illegal bike caught doing wheelies and burnouts on a busy Corby residential street is wanted by police.

This driver, who was wearing a dark red top, black trousers and a white helmet, was snapped in Studfall Avenue displaying an illegal number plate telling cops he would ‘CYA L8R’.

Speaking on social media, the Northants Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This rider thinks he is a stunt rider; wheelies, standing up on the bike and doing burn outs, displaying a tiny registration plate reading CYA L8R

“Do you know who he is? Do you know where the bike is?

“Tell us in confidence, there is no place for this on our roads!”

Corby had a recent crackdown on its ongoing issues with illegal riders. Several seized bikes were crushed and put on display in Queen’s Square as a message to others considering riding illegal off-road vehicles.

Anyone with information about the illegal rider can call police on 101.
