Criminal Corby couple strikes again
A couple of thieves with a string of convictions have appeared of court to answer their latest charge.
Billy Appleyard and Heidi James are well-known by police in both Corby and Kettering having clocked-up a string of shoplifting convictions.

Hide AdThe pair, who formerly lived at addresses including Holyrood Walk, Corby, and Bayes Street, Kettering, are now of no fixed abode.
James, 21, has previous convictions for stealing from shops including Boots, B&M and Superdrug. She appeared once again before Northampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday (July 29) and pleaded guilty to charges of possession of cannabis, theft of an HSBC bank card, and stealing groceries worth £3.80 from Tesco in Oakley Road, Corby.
She was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay compensation to Tesco of £3.80, a victim surcharge of £21 and costs of £85.
Appleyard, 23, was jailed on July 18 for seven days for failing to comply with the conditions of his release from jail for a previous offence. A warrant had been issued for his arrest on July 8 after he failed to appear at court to answer the charges.

Hide AdIn April the pair were jailed for six weeks after breaking into a car in Cowper Street, Kettering and stealing hoverboards before making off on foot.
Appleyard also threatened to stab the victim of that crimeHe has a list of previous convictions going back three years including assault, theft, racially aggravated public order and resisting arrest.
