Courier robbed as he delivered parcel in East Northants village
A package was snatched from a courier after a man attempted to hit him in an East Northants village.
The driver was robbed in Windmill Close, Woodford, when he was delivering a parcel at about 1.20pm on Saturday, July 18.

Hide AdHe was stopped by a woman in the street before a man approached him and claimed the package was his.
A police spokesman said: "As the courier explained the protocol for handing over packages during the Covid-19 pandemic, the man attempted to hit him before snatching the package and hitting him on the back.
"The man ran down the road and got into a white car with the female who had stopped the courier, and drove off."
Today (August 5) officers investigating the incident have released pictures of a man they want to speak to in connection with the robbery.

Hide AdPolice say they believe this man may be able to assist with their enquiries, and are appealing for him or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch.
