Corby woman due to appear in court today charged with GBH
She was scheduled to make her first court appearance this morning
A 30-year-old woman from Corby was due to appear before a court this morning (Monday, August 3) charged with a serious assault against another woman.
Nikki Martin, 30, of Herford Close on Corby's Danesholme Estate, was expected to appear from custody at Northampton Magistrates' Court charged with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent.
She is also accused of illegal possession of a metal bar.
The alleged offence happened last Wednesday (July 29).
A third charge, of common assault, is said to have taken place the following day, on Thursday, July 30.
