A quiet Corby road remains taped off today (Sunday) after a man's body was found in the street.

Police have been at the scene in Snatchill Close, near Applegarth Close, since 11.50pm on Friday (April 30) with a cordon still in place.

The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained and an investigation is taking place to establish how he died.

Officers have been conducting door-to-door enquiries and a forensics team has been at the scene over the weekend.

The cordon is expected to remain in place until later this afternoon.

A force spokesman said: "Anyone who may have been in Snatchill Close between 10pm and 11.50pm on Friday night and who hasn’t spoken to police is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
