As part of the register requirements he must tell police within three days every time he changes his address so that he can be monitored properly.

But twice in two months he failed to do so, meaning his whereabouts could have been unknown.

In December he didn't tell them of his new address in Aston, Birmingham, before failing to provide his new address in Corby in January.

At Northampton Magistrates' Court on Thursday (February 27) Ahad, of Blake Road in Corby, admitted two charges of breaching notification requirements.

Magistrates handed him a total of 40 weeks in prison because of his "flagrant disregard" for court orders.
