Detectives investigating a shocking sex attack near Corby's town centre have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

The victim, a woman in her 30s, was sexually assaulted behind the international swimming pool in George Street between 9pm and 9.15pm on September 7

Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they believe could help them and have appealed for him or anyone who knows him to get in touch.

Police want to speak to this man.

The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers.

Previously a Northants Police spokesman said: "The suspect is described as a mixed race man, about 6ft, of medium build with short, dark hair.

"He was wearing a white T-shirt with a colourful design on it and a gold chain around his neck."
