Corby man set to appear in court today charged with string of crimes including robbery and assault

A 29-year-old man from Corby is set to make a court appearance today (Friday, August 14) accused of a series of crimes that took place in the town.

Connor Gillespie, of Carey Drive, and formerly of Dovedale Road, will appear before Northampton Magistrates' Court this morning.

He is charged with:

- The theft of alcohol and cigarettes at Morrisons in Kettering on December 17, 2019

- The robbery of a Suzuki motorbike in Corby between January 7 and 8

- The assault of a man in Corby on January 7

- Possession of cocaine on January 8

- The theft of Niquitin worth £204 at Tesco Extra, Corby in January 15

- An assault on a woman in the Corby Candle that took place on July 17
