Corby man remanded following knife possession charge
He is due before magistrates next week

A Corby man has been remanded in custody after being charged with having two knives in a public place.
Ian Sloan, 58, of no fixed abode, made his first court appearance in Northampton on Monday (August 3) after being arrested last Saturday in Corby.
He is also accused of a public order offence against a local woman.
He has pleaded not guilty and will be tried in the magistrates’ court.

Magistrates remanded him in custody and he will make a second appearance on Monday (August 10) by video link.
