A Corby man broke a court order banning him from going to the house of a woman he had previously harassed.

Patrick Owens, 39, turned up at Stephenson Way on February 2 where he committed a public order offence against his victim, designed to intimidate her.

Owens, of no fixed abode, was in breach of a non-molestation order made in 2018 which banned him from going within 100m of the house and from harassing her.

He appeared before magistrates last week where, after initially denying the offences, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour and to breaking the non-molestation order.

Owens was jailed for 18 weeks due to the number of times he had repeatedly breached the order.
