Corby man banned from driving for two years after being caught drunk at the wheel

A Corby man has been banned from driving for 25 months after he was found drink driving on the town's Exeter Estate.

James McMillan, 44, of Burghley Close, Corby, appeared at Northampton Magistrates on February 18 where he admitted driving with 117mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg of alcohol.

McMillan was caught in Croyde Avenue on July 27 last year.

The court ordered him to complete a community order including a ten-day rehabilitation requirement. He was also ordered to pay costs and surcharges of £405 and was banned from driving for 25 months.
