A man is appearing at court today after an incident in Corby that sparked a significant police response.

Mark O'Donnell, 48, is charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was arrested in Seaton Crescent yesterday following an incident in Rubens Walk at around midday.

Photos shared on social media showed a large police presence with police dogs.

O'Donnell will appear at Northampton Magistrates' Court later today (Friday, March 20).
