The 23-year-old is said to have threatened to kill the woman in Rockingham Road on April 2, in breach of a non-molestation order previously imposed by another court in June last year.

He is also accused of following the victim and deliberately crashing into her car on February 5 in Dovedale Road. He is also said to have followed the victim through Corby from McDonald's to Constable Road.

Grieveson, of Gainsborough Road, Corby, is accused of phoning the victim 18 times on March 18. He is also charged with driving repeatedly along Blake Road and then of trying to drive the victim off the road, causing her to feel distressed.

The defendant appeared before Northampton Magistrates' Court last week to face one charge of threats to kill and a separate charge of stalking.
