Corby man accused of burglary due in court today

A Corby man who allegedly broke into a local business and then fled the scene is due to appear in court today.

Henry Joseph Barry, of Whitworth Avenue, is charged with burgling the CTR Group premises at Brunel Road, Corby and then making off from the scene in a white Peugot Van. He is accused of failing to stop in Macadam Road when ordered to do so by a police officer.

He is also said to have driven the vehicle with no insurance and no licence.

The offences were alleged to have taken place on Tuesday (October 20.)

Barry, 36, will appear before magistrates in Northampton today (Thursday, October 22).
