Class A drugs and weapons seized in East Northants village raid

The raid happened at an address in Lancaster Gardens, Wymington, in the morning of Saturday, December 7.

A police spokesman said: "A large quantity of class A drugs (including heroin and crack cocaine), cash, phones and weapons (including a knife and a knuckle duster) were seized."

A 32-year-old man from Rushden was arrested and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The warrant was executed by a plain clothes police team who shared the result on their Twitter account, Kettering ProActive Cops.

In a tweet, they said: "Busy day today, drugs submitted to lab for analysis. We then executed a warrant in East Northants. Large amount of Class A drugs, cash, weapons and phones recovered.

"We continue the drive to rid our county of those who deal drugs, bully the vulnerable and ruin peoples lives."
