The Vicar of St Mary’s Finedon and former Strictly Come Dancing Star Reverend Richard Coles has had his electric bike stolen from Wellingborough Railway Station.

Rev Coles, who regularly commutes from the station to London for his Saturday Live Radio 4 show, had his £2,000 Kalkhoff Agattu 3B stolen from the bike rack outside the station in Midland Road.

”I absolutely loved the bike. I am oddly devastated.

”I would very much like it back.”

He added that the bike was taken between 6am and 4pm today (Saturday) and the frame number is AV1967677.

Rev Coles has had an incredibly tough few months, losing his beloved partner David in December after a long illness. He also had to face the death of his sister-in-law Louise Coles from Covid-19 in April.

If anyone sees the distinctive bike for sale then please phone police on 101.
