Detectives have identified a man they want to speak to over a bike theft from outside a McDonald's in Northampton.

Officers revealed the bike was stolen when its lock was cut while it was parked outside the takeaway between 10am and 10.30am at Weston Favell.

Security cameras picked up a man walking past the restaurant who police believe may have information which could help track down the thief.

A spokesman for the Force said: "We would like this man to come forward or, anyone who recognises him or has information about the theft, please call 101 using incident number 21000109046"
