Catalytic converters stolen from cars parked on Kettering streets

Police are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch

Police are investigating a series of thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles parked in Kettering streets.

The latest incident happened last week when cars parked in streets off London Road were targeted overnight.

Witnesses have been asked to contact the Kettering Neighbourhood Policing Team with information.

A police spokesman said: "During 8.40pm and 9.10pm on Wednesday, April 7 unknown person/s have stolen a catalytic converter using unknown means from a Green Mazda MX5 on Broadway, Kettering."

A second incident took place nearby in Hawthorn Road between 5.25pm on Wednesday, April 7, and 8.40am on Thursday, April 8, when a catalytic converter from a silver Honda Jazz was taken.

The previous incident had taken place in The Grove in February when a catalytic converter from a blue Honda Jazz was taken between February 15 and 21.
