Cash, luxury watches and jewellery stolen in burglary at snooker star's Barton Seagrave home
Snooker star Kyren Wilson has thanked people for their support after a break-in at his house in Barton Seagrave yesterday morning (Monday).
The upstairs window of the four-bedroom home in Polwell Lane, Barton Seagrave was broken between 11.04am and 11.22am on Monday, June 22.
Police say the occupant of the home was out at the time the offenders gained entry and valuable items such as luxury watches, cash and designer bags were stolen.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: “Upon returning home, they discovered signs of a break-in, including disturbed rooms and a smashed upstairs window believed to have been used as the point of entry or exit.

"A number of high-value items were stolen during the burglary, including cash, multiple luxury watches, jewellery and designer bags.
“Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area at the time, or who may have information about the incident, is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
Kyren Wilson had been at a Championship League Snooker event in Leicester at the time of the break-in just after 11am.
He says among the items stolen were an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Cartier Santos, and Rolex Datejust watches, a blue sapphire necklace, and £2,000 cash that had been set aside as a donation to the BeMoreFab children’s cancer charity.
In a post on his Facebook page, Kyren said: “This has been a deeply distressing experience, not because of the value of the items alone, but because of the personal memories and meaning attached to them.”
Kyren has since posted a further message on his social media thanking people for their support since the incident.
He thanked them for sharing his appeal and for their support during what has been a ‘very difficult time for the family,’ adding they are all ‘safe and sound.’
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to quote incident number 26000345678 when passing information to the police.
