Officers found about 30 cannabis plants after executing a drugs warrant in Wellingborough.

The discovery was made when police carried out at the warrant at about 7.40am today (Thursday) at a property in Irthlingborough Road, Wellingborough.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "About 30 cannabis plants were discovered, the grow has now been dismantled.

"No-one was present when the warrant was executed so no arrests."

Anyone with information about the incident can call police on 101.
