Burglars steal jewellery after raiding Corby house

Burglars raided a house in Corby after smashing a window to get in.

The criminals made off with items of jewellery after raiding the home in Trinity Walk yesterday (Thursday).

The incident took place between 10.30am and 2pm when the burglars broke a front window to gain access before stealing the valuable items.

A police spokesman said: "Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Trinity Walk, between the stated times.

"Anyone who may have any information regarding this incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 20000489156. Or alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
