Two burglars were disturbed during an early hours break-in in Desborough.

Police have released descriptions of the offenders after the incident at a garage in Cypress Close at about 1am on Friday (April 17).

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time to get in touch.

A police spokesman said: "The first offender is described as a stocky white man, 5ft 10in, with a pale complexion, about 20 to 25-years0old, wearing a black Puffa-style jacket with the hood up.

"The second offender is described as taller and slimmer, about the same age, also wearing a black Puffa-style jacket with either the hood up or with a woolly hat on."
