A burglar broke into a home in Raunds and caused a flood after stealing three televisions.

Police are appealing for information after the incident in Gladstone Street, which took place at some point between 10am on May 20 and 3pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The burglar gained access to the victim's house by forcing the lock on the front door and once inside they stole items including three televisions and a games console.

They also left a tap running, causing a flood inside the property.

A police spokesman said: "Any information, please call our non-emergency 101 police number quoting 20000307704."
