Bryn is named after another PD Bryn, who was shot and killled protecting his handler PC Ian Chums on a job in Irthlingborough in 1988.

Northants Police Dogs Section post regular Twitter updates using the hashtag #TheNoseKnows.

Bryn's pal PD Kez had a busy night helping locate a vulnerable man across fields while PD Walt helped nabbed two would-be burglars and vital evidence after an an attempted break-in.

But they are all doing their duty by staying at home when off-duty, helping with a few chores like painting fences and cleaning garden furniture.
